Not sure if this is a module problem or an ls prob, but take loose screws for example, if u click to download one of the modules and click open instead of download, the file downloads but never opens on my pc, i get a "file cannot be opened" error or something, im using the latest winrar. Maybe ls doesn't like winrar?

"Not sure if this is a module problem or an ls prob..."
I think this has nothing to do with Litestep!
You need to explain better your problem!? But i don't think this is the right place to ask!

these files you download are normal zip files, therefore your winrar seems to be corrupted.

winrar isn't corrupt, because i can save the file and open them normally. It works with some pages and not with others. on loose screws it definetly doesn't. maybe its the html?

It has to do with the fact that the download link isn't going to the zip but the php file. The php file streams the zip to your machine and causes problems with IE. The only answer is to Save it to Disk and then open it.
