Has anyone made a low colour (8bit / 256 system pallet) theme?

I have some old software that only runs with the desktop in 256 colour mode: This makes just about everything look ugly.

But a theme intended to be viewed with only those colours wouldn't look too shabby.

Any thought? Thanks for reading! :)

Aah, there was a theme I was using awhile ago called 'System' (I think) that used no graphics and based the theme colors around the system colors.

You could give that a go.. otherwise good luck. :/
