IE Error, IE Error Arghh! Thread last updated on 2004-07-27 13:08:30

So I decided to try litestep, regardless of theme, from the moment it boots I get a constant stream of error messages popping up, at a rate of about 1 second saying "IE Error" in the titlebar, with no actual error message, just an OK button.
And no matter what I do, they just keep coming up.

Anybody have a cure for this? I really want to use Litestep, but this is way to annoying.

Thanks!

did you switch to litestep as your default shell?
if you just running it over the top of explorer that can cause problems

What they said. Explination;
Appeares you have a virus/spamware that requires the use of Explorer to be loaded at start up. W/out it, it can't load the IE extensions it needs. Thus you're getting spammed by an error.

Scan for spyware/viruses.

KrakensDen, I know BoneyCork from a few different places, I was giving him a customary internet greeting.
