i think you'll need a little more information than that. what verison of litestep? what operating system? what browser? what LS theme do you have on? etc, etc, etc...

Your theme is probably the most important thing. BTW, a good shortcut to remember is alt+tab. It should let you switch to any program you have running.

Sometimes when not on the same workspace, alt-tabbing doesn't work well. If you're in 2k/XP, one trick is to use the context menu in task manager (applications tab) to minimize and then restore the app.
