im trying to make lsxcommand show the background image with transparency, I'm not worried about flickering since i dont plan on scrolling text.

It seems however that no matter what, lsxcommand just wants to show the solid background color

ive tried absolute paths to the image, relative using vars, LSImageFolder and then just the filename

anyone know why it would only show solid color.

Ive tried versions 1.8.5, 1.9.3, and a few others

CommandBackground "lsxback.bmp"
CommandTransparentEditBox on ; tried nothing, true, TRUE

It just doesn't work on some machines and I have no idea why. I'm assuming it has something to do with video drivers, but that's just a wild guess.
