i have W2k SP4 and i'm getting this error everytime i boot up

"Litestep Tray Manager: litestep.exe - Bad Image : The application or DLL C:\WINNT\system32\system32.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

what should i do?

i really think its more of a litestep-related problem. i don't it get when i'm in the explorer shell

Sometimes viruses use the explorer shell to do stuff, and when you use another shell, they don't like it and give errors. Your best bet would be to scan for viruses and spyware.

Also, from a quick google, I found that C:\WINNT\system32\system32.dll is not system dll but is created by a virus.
