Has anyone been able to get the main winamp5 window "unsticky" in rabidvwm? I've been poking through the forums and monkeying with !VWMSticky to no avail. I can get other windows un/sticky just not that damn Winamp v1.x (using rabidvwm-1.1.1, btw).

Do you have the options set in winamp's preferences to not make it sticky?

As far as I know. There's an "Always on Litestep Virtual Desktops" option that's unchecked, the only other LS related thing I've seen in there is the "Litestep VWM compatible mode" which only turns off the snapping to screen edges (and has no effect on the stickiness, unfortunately).

Last time I checked, Winamp's LiteStep VWM stuff didn't really help much. And WA5 was doing some rude things to prevent you from dragging it offscreen, which is exactly what the VWM does.

If I ever get around to it, I wanted to write something that'd do system-wide voodoo to fix this and some other issues in any app that tried it. Otherwise, maybe ask Nullsoft to add an option to allow you to drag it offscreen or something. (perhaps update the LS VWM options to actually *work*)

Hm, it seems to have come up several times in the Winamp forums (both relating to litestep vwms and other stand-alone vwm programs). Suppose we'll have to wait around and see if it ever gets fixed. Be sure and let us know if you get around to releasing any rabidVoodoo.
