Hey guys,
In observance of the August 4th release date of Doom III posted at the EBX that I work at, I decided that I wanted to change my desktop to this (http://www.ua-corp.com/nosound.html) using Windows XP's Active Desktop feature.
Problem: It doesn't work.
Here's what I did, step by step.
-Control Panel
-Display
-Desktop
-"Customize Desktop"
-Web
-"New"
-Entered in proper URL
-Synchronized Successfully
-"OK"
-"OK"
-Apply
Nothing happens. I just sit there staring at a white desktop.
I'm hoping that this isn't an issue with LiteStep, and it doesn't seem like it would be. Perhaps I'm wrong. Is Active Desktop a function of the Explorer Shell? If so, then why can I still see my regular desktops? Am I missing a vital step here?
Specs:
Windows XP Pro: SP1 (Fully Updated)
LiteStep 0.24.7 RC3 (Latest Version)
Intel D865PESO(GLCL) (Latest Drivers)
Pentium 4 2.6c
ABit Siluro GeForce 4 Ti 4600 (Latest Drivers)[/url]
