I would like to know if anyone can write an app to animate lsbox. Basically I would like to see something that outputs scripts for moving and fading boxes based on inputed box name, size, screen position and time in ms.

nice thought, but why still lsbox? i can't think of anything lsbox can do and xlabel can't, but of many things the other way round. :)

Can xlabal contain LSMail? I have never thought of using xlabel to replace lsbox. Could you suggest a theme that uses
xlabel as boxes for RabidVWM, VTray etc?

i'm not really sure, but i think you can use every module that supports lsbox-hooking.

consider xlabellight as an option (it also offers the hooking capabilities)
