I'm thinking of making a theme from scratch. It consists basically of an lsbox that can expand or whatnot. I just wanted to know if you could put tasks in an lsbox and if so, how?
It is very possible to put tasks in an LSBox. Themes like itqe, 18 and 21 proved that quite well. However, docs are few and far between. When I get home I will look for some examples for you.
I don't remember 21 using tasks in a box... but I could've fogotten... thnx
Get the lsbox 2.75 zip, it comes with a special tasks version that includes !hook support. Then again it could also be that the !hook was merged into the most recent tasks release but not documented... you'll have to try it i suppose :p
I'm playing on making a new theme. At this point of developement, there's only one LSBox (last build) with taskbar3 into it. Do you want me to send you this theme ?
yeah sure... that'd be cool thnx. Hmmmm... is it possible to create a new LSBox where its position is relative to another LSBox? Like the new box is equal to X + 64 and Y + 32 or another box? Can you do the basic arithmetic?
with .24.7 you can prolly do that...but not until
Humm, to comput coordinates of a box, you'll have to know values like X and Y of the box. But LSBox doesn't let you know these when dragging the box...
Then, If you want to do such things you'll have to diseable the lsbox dragging option, use skinbox for the titlebar and script a lot. It works, I already done things like that. But it's hard to manage user friendly z-order...
About the theme I'm about to send you: it's undocumented, of course, and it's could be that there some unneeded stuff here or here...
