Is there a mod or a way for me to have an image resolution independent? im trying to make a taskbar with an image using shortcut2-2.4 that will change on resolution.

you would have to do IF statements and have an image for each res...or just let the image extend past the screen edge (Note...this would break multimonitor compat. for your theme)

nah...ill just use label :) since i can tell label not to extend the ends but only the middle. and i can also have it adapt to the resolution
