I'm trying to stop the ability to download new programs on my pc(shared with my brothers). I read a bit on the matter and it looks like if you filter the file types that the Internet temp folder can accept this could be done.
Now I'm wondering if there is an LS module or combination of modules that can be configured to do this.
Ideas on the right direction would be great.

I don't think this is a job for a shell ?? LiteStep are not supposed to manage any kind of network traffic (only display it ;) ) Remember: Shell =/= from O.S. (Operative System).

About your problem, if you are using Win2K/XP, you could try to limit your brother's account permissions! But this matter belongs for another topic and forum.

Yeah,I was looking it from a filter on the Internet temp folder, just thought that could be possible for an LS mod.
