I have a bit problem here while starting Litestep on my PC (XP). I used installation files downloaded from this site submitted by omar and AngelKnight. But the problem is may not be the installer file itself or i don't know... cause while running under explorer shell, everything is working just fine.

After i installed Litestep by omar and reboot, my PC starts okay with Litestep display but it keeps opening my 'My Documents' folder again and again forcing the CPU usage up to 70% and over. Luckily the installer placed shortcut icon to exchange the shell but i have to press alt+f4 many times to get to the desktop while a new My Documents folder opens every second. I went through all .rc files and studying it but never found any path or phrase pointed to that folder. So at first i thought maybe there is something wrong with the installer file.

The i installed another Litestep by AngelKnight but the same problem occur.

Does anyone here facing the same problem ? Something wrong with my local setting ? Please help. Thank you...

When explorer was your default shell, did it open the My Documents folder automatically on login? Have you checked your startup settings (run the command 'msconfig')? Have you run an anti-malware program like Spybot S&D? Are you running an anti-virus program?

No, it didn't open automatically on explorer shell. i've checked msconfig setting and couldn't find anything like asking My Documents to run automatically. Yes i have run anti-malware program and have temporarily disable the anti- virus program.

But anti-malware program is set to run and scan my hard drive automatically on startup. Does it cause the problem ?

What anti-malware program are you using? What anti-virus program? Details are your friend =D.
