Help.

I just tried Litestep for the first time today. I downloaded a theme from wincustomize and chose it from the LSTS. The icons and tray disappeared and I am left with the background. No right clicking, left clicking or pressing the windows key will help. Its just blank.

The only way I am able to reach you here is by ALT-CTL-DEL to the Taskbar clicking help\online help to get to the internet explorer.

How do I get to the desktop?

for starters open up explorer and go into the litestep directory and double click the "switch to default theme" link and that will get you back to a hopefully working theme... and what theme were you using? sounds like there was a problem with the theme itself... did you try shift-left clicking on the desktop?

btw, either you have an ots2 distribution and tried to use lsts which isnt compatible with ots2, or you tried to install an ots2 theme in the ots installer.

use the latest installer (omar's) availible from the downloads section, and remove the lsts ;)

shinhugami, in 9x you have to open system.ini in dos, and change the shell line to explorer.exe

What he said^^

Probably the worst that can happen with messing LS, you'll just have to do that.
