alrighty.. lemme start off by saying, this isnt my first time venturing in litestep.. so i do know my way around..

my problem is.. on my left side of my monitor,.. for some odd reason, theres a void.. i can drag things over, but for about an inch it will hide anything thats there.. tried different skins, checked step.rc, kicked my monitor, nothing!

anyone got ANY clue what the heck is up with it?

Maybe desktop module settings in one of your personal configs. (personal.rc, etc..)

Since the problem is on all themes, and these files override the theme's settings,

by different skins, you meant different litstep themes, correct?

correct.. but i seem to have fixed it by upgrading litestep to 0.27 RC3. still dont understand why it did that, but im not complaining now since i got it working.. sweet to have a desktop so much like linux but still be able to run my software (main reason i never really sticked to linux)

I'm the same way. I would look closer at linux, except that I game pretty heavily, and linux doesn't do games to good. at least not yet.

unless you use WineX.. but im too stingy for it... so im on litestep!.. :'( it broke again tho.. dont get it!.. im running the theme "sputnik".. it was working not long ago.. loaded d2, and as soon as i quit.. the whole left side went whacko again!..
