if ur good with comps then u know that this totaly replases explor but something that u can do is boot to explorer and then run litestep this will give u the ability to when u right clik on the desktop it will give u a litestpe type meni this will be acsesibale from litestep in the same way wen ur run it without explorere p.s. if u dont want to disable litestep from within it then u can us a ez2instal instaler and select manual regerstry editing this should give u 2 icons on the desktop labeled "set explorer to shell" and "set litesteo as shell" u can use thes to togle luitestp on and off p.s.2 im 14 too and iv been using this for 2 years now and i dont think its confusing

you should use omar's installer, ez2 is known to have some problems.

Before you install, you should read omar's install guide, it will explain most all of the questions you have about the instalation procedure. http://beyondconvention.net/ohussain/lsinstaller/

It wouldn't hurt to read the litestep documentation's either. http://lsdocs.shellfront.org

Post install, for themes always read the their readme files, look at their .rc files, and read the module docs. This isn't nessisary to use them, but it will help you learn and understand it all.

Lastly these and many other forums are a massive source of information, just takes a bit of looking. So as the saying goes, RTFM! ;)

Hi bushpatriot. I'm 15 and just installed LS a few months ago. I had no knowledge of programming, except some basic html and batch, but I was computer litterate file stuff. I used omar's installer, and everything went well. I didn't find LS too hard, you just have to read docs a lot. Be sure to read the o-t-s.sourceforge.net
