I'm working on a new OTS theme. I can swtich to it when I'm running the simplicity theme and it works fine. When I try to shut down and reboot under my new theme, I get hung at the Windows splash screen. I'm using XP Pro SP1. Any ideas???

I get this problem when rebooting or logging off/on too, but I'm not using Litestep right now. I can't remember why it happens, I think it's an issue with XP's friendly logon screen and alternate shells. What I do to temporarily fix it is push control+alt+delete, brings up the task manager and causes Windows to stop showing the splash screen.

switching to the classic logon screen should help

I only have the problem when I reboot using my new theme. If I have litestep set to use the simplicity theme it boots fine.

Im guessing you are using LSTS, edit settings for the theme to change step from sdttep.rc to step.rc
