I've been changing a theme iv downloaded around and made a new theme out of it. But it has a step.rc file and iv read it needs to be a theme.rc for it to be ots compatable.
I've tried just renaming it! but then my theme doesn't load at all :(
Can any1 tell me what else i need to do.

aww ive already read that!

I've since found out, the them i was using as a base had a _compatibility_patch.rc file in the config folder. i deleted that and it works now.
