I have finally put together my own simple little theme and I decided to add a little something to the theme in terms of transparency. I finally got my systray to be transparent by switching from jtray to systray but now I have this stupid purple tint to some of the icons... (I got it working based on some settings from another theme but any time I try and change the systray bg and fg colors to anything other than FF00FF it is no longer transparent) Also I am trying to get kclock to be transparent. I have *grdTransparent kclock-1.6.dll 255 3 in my .rc file but it never seems to work... is it just b/c kclock doesn't work with grdTransparent and I need to use a different one or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated...

Hrm... I had tried lower numbers before and it never seemed to make a difference... now it is... but is there anyway I can just make the background transparent and leave the numbers? Also I'm still having the tint problem on the systray icons...

about the systray transparancy, I coincidentally just answered a similar question in the general forum. See:

This gets rid of the pink.

Excellent... Thanks... that worked... but maybe you could explain something to me... why do the settings for that seem to need to be purple in order for it to work? just wondering... Also can anyone help me with the clock or suggest a different one? I like kclock b/c I have the size and the format the way I want it and I want a digital one but I want one that I can make the background transparent and the text show up so any suggestions for that would be appreciated

For the clock, you could use Ghrone, by GarooSoft, but it's not a module.
