Im having trouble with my popup on the theme Simple Plan by [Idiotech] (i think). The popup simply disappears, often times before i can click what i want to on my popup. Im using popup2 and ive tried a few different versions but it still keeps happening. I havent spotted anything in the step.rc or the popup.rc that would cause this, anyone know what to do?

Hmm, i was going crazy trying to figure this out but it suddenly stopped disappearing and i cant reproduce the problem so i guess it was nothing, oh well.

I have a similar problem, on & off, w/ almost every theme I've tried. I right click and when I move from the 1st popup to the 2nd or 2nd to 3rd popup, the 2nd/3rd popup disappears. Sometimes when I move my mouse very slow to the next popup it's ok. Sometimes I have to use the arrow keys.

Not that I think you two are stupid but are you sure you're moving straight across a selection? If you move up or down on the first popup before getting the mouse over the next popup, it'll close the second one. Moving too quickly sometimes makes it appear like it's closing for no reason when this is in fact the problem.

After playing around a bit just to verify what TSL was saying, went through the popups to display this structure, with the final entry only highlighted (did not move mouse to final menu):

RootPopup>System>MyComputer>C:>WINNT

when I moved the mouse back from C: to mycomputer (mouse never entered the WINNT popup), the first 3 menus disappeared...!!!RELIABLY!!!

Through further tests I found that when I moved from the WINNT entry in the C: popup back to the C: entry in the MyComputer popup, this triggered all popups to disappear except for the C: popup. This happens EVERY time the mouse moved directly (without hitting ANY other entries) back to the C: entry in the MyComputer popup. This does not happen when moving directly from a non-directory entry (ie: somefile.txt) in the C: popup back to the C: entry in the MyComputer popup.

Well, it seems that you're problem is reproducable. Using popup2-2.1.7, Litestep 0.24.7 RC1, WindowsXP, I have the same problem. I'm gonna see if I can't get the source and see if it's something I can figure out.

I waas able to replroduce it too. LS 0.24.7 RC3, WinXP (home), popup2-2.1.7. Though for me it's not much of a problem.

lol no it wasnt that i was missing the popup menu. After a certain period of time a little hour glass would appear near my cursor and the popup would disappear. It did not matter where my cursor was, but like i said its working fine now.

This may have sideeffects though.

ilcuts: well, that fixed the disappearing popups. They now flash, but this is definitely acceptable. There must still be some sort of bug however... :)
