hey , was wondering i anyone knew o a diferent module that can create pretty much what shortcut2.dll does but doesnt require images ?
Im trying to create a theme totally with solid colours, gradients etc , and sort of making the lot transparent ..

Label can do transparent and there was a Text Shortcut module, look for it on Shellfront.

ive tried label , it still needs a bitmap tho ?
if theres a new version of label that can have solid colours instead of bitmaps that would be awesome.. i'll go check out shellfront again :)

I believe if you don't define a bmp you get a transparent background.

You could always use Magic Pink if you had to.

I dont want total transparency , what im aiming for is to have a solid colour , mostly transparent, a lot based on a theme called Fern#1 (dont remeber link i i find it i'll post it)
basically ive been using grdTransparent, to make modules transparent, i was trying to go for a theme without images (just cause i thought it would be interesting) , but if i have to its no big loss , but shortcut2 cant be made transparent by grdTransparent ?? as far as i know at least ..

arg , he seems to have come across the same prob, he used label with transparency, and used his own background (with theme ) for colour .. i wanted to make a wallpaper independent theme ..

i had previously checked out your theme , but it gave me soo many erros when i tried to load it i kinda moved on. but looking closer thats a really interestin way u have done the winamp buttons. Why did you have to have all that !execute stuf for the mouse button as opposed to just !amp_next etc ? i dont really understand that , but ive never tried and script stuff in ls yet i its got something to do with all that ..
