Ok first off i have no idea how to script in LS. ive only been testing it a little. Ive gotten some cool things goin. The one thing i do want tho is that with the theme im using doesnt show the desktop icons.

what i would like to have is a button somewhere preferably in the popup when i right click that will change the value in the themevars.rc so that the desktop icons will appear and then another one to turn them back off. I need the full script. I know where to put it i just dont know how to write it. something like this will be cool.

if it doesnt have desktop icons grab icondesk or xdesktop from ls-universe and use the bangs specified in the docs for showing and hidint it.
for pop mail use lsmail.

i know what to do with the mail i just dont know what to put under these

popname - don't know myself, never used lsmail
popserver - probably pop3 server adresse
popusername - your login???
poppassword - ... come on, don't tell me you don't know

popname = Name to appear in the display as your mail server...
