lately ive been downloading some themes from windowsblinds, and they are all over 1mb, none of them so far have worked for me. when i click install new theme and select the zip file, it wont work. All the themes that i have downloaded from litestep themes have worked, and i noticed they are all under 1mb. so now wat im wondering is
1)wats the deal with this, is it the different file formats?
2)wat formats can i run?
3)wats the hole deal with this OT2,OTS,OTS2 ect. formats thing?
4)i get a hole bunch of popup errors sayin could not load all these modules when i install these themes and i get the hole blank wallapaper thing so i just change it back to default theme. is there any solution to these errors?

sorry so many quistions, im just new to this hole thing...:) thanks in advance.

Windows blinds themes are installed by windows blinds not by litestep.(two different things)
I sugest you read yor windows blinds documentation.

You're probably missing a CRT library, maybe MSVCP60.DLL or perhaps one of the newer varieties.

Or you're trying to load Win2k/XP only modules on 9x/ME...

What does the title of the error message box say?

3) The deal with OTS2 is that it's a new theming standard that takes it off the users shoulders to figure out how to install the theme. Go and read the standards' docs to find out what it's all about.

If the Windowsblinds website does not keep proper track of LS progress, themes there might be OTS1, or, even worse, pre-OTS. Even though those work with some fiddling and tidying up the config files, usually it isn't worth it. There's plenty of up-to-date themes around.
