I could have sworn there was a LS module that allowed you to change a window's titlebar text. Am I crazy or can I just not find it? If there isn't one, any generic apps to do this in the background?

fnxl works for taking stuff out...too bad I'm totally lost in configuring it. An example in the help file of something other than removing beginning/trailing app names would have helped.

If you got it from loosescrews the latest version comes without a config example:
this is from version 1b6(past versions):
Opera - \[(.*)\]\z
$1
alphaedit2 - \[(.*)\]\z
$1
(.*) - Microsoft Visual C\+\+
$1
.* - Microsoft Visual C\+\+ - \[(.*)\]$
$1
Microsoft Excel - (.+)
$1
(MSDN Library) - (.+)
$2 - $1
^Microsoft Access - \[(.+) : .+\]$
$1
^Microsoft Access$
Access
^(.+) - Bersirc IRC Client.+
$1
^(.+) - Microsoft Internet Explorer$
$1

The one I found at loose-screws lacked that file, but I got it from an old one at shellfront.
What I'm lost in is, FI, I want
":: l i t e s t e p . n e t :: - Mozilla Firefox"
to become
"Mozilla Firefox - :: l i t e s t e p . n e t ::"

Edit: Still can't figure out how to get it for any app, but trial and error got it working.
