Hi, I think I need some help here...
After uninstalling Litestep +- 1 day ago, I had no problems. But today my PC crashed, and now hen I start up, explorer.exe wont start.
This means I am looking at my desktop/background, which is completely empty. No start-menu, no icons... no nothing.
I can only use taskmanager (ctrl+alt+delete), but when I try executing explorer.exe from within the taskmanager, explorer.exe starts, but immediately exits again.
Does anyone know what this problem is?

Thnx
~Jazz

No> Do you know anyone else w/ the same OS as you? I'd think copying their explorer.exe would be a good first step.

I'm using Windows ME and I have a same same kind of a problem.
I tried to install a new theme, there was an error, Litestep asked if I'd want to revert to the default theme. And I accidentally pressed "No". Now whenever I try to run Litestep, I get an error.

I tried editing the system.ini, I changed shell=E:\LITESTEP\LITESTEP.EXE to shell=C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE and now it just boots the computer when it should go to Windows.

Anyone know what to do? Should I copy the explorer.exe from a friend too?

Don't know about the issue w/ explorer and ME.
However, edit the themeselect.rc to read auterity where the current theme folder is. SHould be easy even in DOS mode.
(don't tell anybody, but even in these days of 2k/XP, I use Edit every now and then :))

Got it working again, I pressed Alt+Ctrl+F1, then "Run..."
And there I wrote E:\Litestep\ and selected "Change to default theme"
