how do you edit the list of programs that appear under the quicklaunch section of the popup?

In Win2k or XP, go to
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quicklaunch

$QuickLaunch$ is easier and is found in the docs.

I have C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ location but i don't have quicklauch folder or file,why?

it must have been deleted...it SHOULD be there...

It happens on WindowsXP alot and maybe some other OS's but that folder is sometimes hidden, if you fail to find it by going to the address suggested, then just open up search and type in "quicklaunch" to find it yourself!

But there is small problem...I can't use my search option, it doesn't work.

If you look on the toolbar in explorer it has "Tools>Folder Options". Go there and make sure that your hidden files are visible. Sorry if that doesn't help either, I tried my best.
