I have recently installed litestep and skrupnik theme. I am new to litestep so i don't know much about it. How come my windows skins do not change when I installed the theme. Here is a screen shot:

As you can see I am using Style XP to skin the windows and litestep for the rest of the theme. This is really crap imo as it takes up way too much resources. How come the windows skin isn't replaced or modified upon installation of the litestep theme. What am I missing?

I downloaded the OTS, installed it and installed the theme. Am I missing something that enables litestep to skin windows? Also with my current theme, the stat box on the bottom right gets really annoying. It is rather big and is always on top, even though it is slightly transparent. How do I modify this so it's not on top?

Thanks for your time

Litestep doesn'tskin the windows, just the desktop.
To skin the windows you would need a program like windowblinds.
The theme your loading, is based on a older Sputnik theme of mine, which in turn was based on a Windowblinds skin called "sputnik" by treetog.

So can you guide me into skinning the rest of the windows as well? So i need to do what i do now but instead of style xp, use windows blind and the search for the windows blind file.

actually you can use stylexp too. but you need somekind of a *.dll file to use other (non-M$) skins. there's a thread about skinning windows somwhere on this forum. it's called "best skinning program" or sth like that.
