That doesn't involve using the default screen.
I found a utility called pskill that is used to kill processes
you can find it here: http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/pskill.shtml
I copied it in my root. Then I added a shortcut in my user startup folder that points to
C:\pskill.exe logonui
So I tried it out. I logged on to my user, and the logon screen disapeared for a second or so, allowing me to see LS, but then it came back, a bit different. Instead of saying 'Welcome username' on a blue BG, it just had the winxp logon an that same blue bg, and I had to use the taskmanager to make it go away.
So, I'm wondering, is this logonui.exe that comes back to life afer I kill it? Or is this another process I should kill?
I need your knowledge to hopefully get this working, I'm getting tired of pressing ctrl+alt+del, and I don't want to use the classic logon.
