Hi,

I'v been using linux for the last 5 years but I have to switch to windows for work. I'm wondering if there is any software on windows that allows for a 3x3 virtual desktop or if litestep can be configured like this.

I had the numeric keypad + win button mapped to switch workplaces.

I have noticed that there is vwm that allows for a 4x1 or 2x2 virtual workspace.

read ckvwm and jkeys' manuals.

every ls vwm module supports n x m virtual desktops (but a) that's what i think, however i know of none which does not, and b) there is probably some limitation to it, but nobody would use more than... let's say 16x16 anyway) :)

Thanks.

Another short question. Where is the best place to put the *jKey directives? Would that be vk104.txt or some other place?

these are put into litestep\personal\hotkey.rc
this is the directory for you to put in anything that's specific to you (your hotkeys, settings, etc.).
you can also find a documentation about this at http://o-t-s.sourceforge.net
