Howdy folks!
I´m just wondering witch LS distro i should use?
Sinse there is what i have understand somewhat alot of
different distros out there, it´s abit difficulty to know
witch one to go for.
So could someone please guide me in the right direction?
Thanx in advance.
basically there are 3 "distributions" of LiteStep currently. I say "distributions" because there are really 2 true distributions but you could call another a third.
omar's installer - by far the most commonly used and supported distribution running currently with support for LSD4P, OTS1 and OTS2.
ez2install - competition for omar's installer. was released before omar's OTS2 installer came out; however, it doesn't adhere strictly to the OTS2 specification so can cause many problems.
Core - not really a distribution as many think of it. as ilmcuts put it the other day, if omar's installer is a distribution this would be considered a bare kernel. from this bare kernel however, you can build your own distribution and standard allowing for a more personalized build. aka...roll your own.
Just the answer i would like to hear :))
Thanx a lot.

Don't forget LDE(X) -
http://ldex.terica.net/ - though it's not a typical LS "distro".
^ and they kindly compile the i686 version of the litestep binaries.
