original LiteStep theme?
just switch to it from popup menu (right click on desktop -> LiteStep -> Change theme -> Austerity)

If that dosent work you could unplug the pc or go to the house fuse box and shutdown everything.If that doesnt work try hitting it as hard as you can.
That you should turn it off.
now to restore the original theme just write original on any floppy disk,insert it and turn the power back on.

Worst case, run the shortcut in the litestep directory called "Switch to default theme"
(sometimes you know you're just stuck being a geek when it's quicker to open and edit themeselect.rc than find that shortcut:))

You might already have a shortcut that will do it for you. It would be on your desktop and say 'Set Explorer as my shell' or something similar. If you don't have that, you can do it the old-fashoned way.
Go to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.INI and change

shell=C:\LITESTEP\LITESTEP.EXE

to

shell=C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE

then restart, and it should load up explorer.
Keep in mind my file paths will be different than yours are. I don't know where things are on XP.

If you dont have the shortcut pizzasgood refer to,you can try:
Popup-litestep-utilities-SetShell and select explorer

See if you have SetShell before you try to edit your system.ini

I came in here with a huge rant about not being able to uninstall litestep, but then I found the icon on the desktop. Yay.

star, the your rant was your own problem. it uninstalls like everything else: the add/remove programs applet in the control panel. if you can't figure THAT out, you probably shouldn't be using litestep anyways.
