how do I install a theme. im pretty sure i have every module in existance in my modules folder.. yet i can't get a single theme other than the default one to work. it requests that I specify the locations of the modules, so I do, all proper versions. and then it fails and asks me if i want to revert.

what happened to litestep. it worked when I used it a year ago? did I just become retarded?

place the zip files of the modules in the \modules\archive\ folder. the netloadmodules will first take a look in there and then access to the internet if the zip doesn't exist

I managed to get it working via the method that always works, manual theme install. does that installer actually work? because it wouldn't even download any of the modules, its a good idea but unfortunate that it doesn't work. probably on my end of things. but anyhow. i got it going via non-lazy methods.

it doesnt fail, it always asks to revert, go to the themeinstaller settings and uncheck *prompt to revert to default theme*

That's kinda dangerous if you like experimenting with themes that may\may not load... but hey. If it works for him- it works for him =D.

why would you do that?? just edit themeselect.rc and put a working theme name in there.
