I've just got litestep going in XP at last, and having a few problems that I can't see answers for listed anywhere (and can't search for while the server update is taking place).
Whenever WinXP starts up, I get two desktop.ini files loading up on screen each time, one from the "All Users" startup folder and one for my user name startup folder. Both just say:
"[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787"
These are kinda annoying and I'd like to stop them popping up. Along with this though, whenever I directly open a folder through litestep (eg. clicking my documents in deskfolders) I get this message:
"Windows cannot find '(null)'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button ,and then click Search."
And a similar message for open drives occurs, however all 'normal' folders will display the path name instead of the null in the above section.
This is even more annoying, because the window opens up perfectly in the background, just there is an error window that needs to be got rid off first.
Anyone any suggestions on fixing these 2 problems?
Thanks
Ian W
