disabling litestep on startup Thread last updated on 2004-04-17 14:45:59

please help!
I have installed that bright purple theme on my desktop but there's quite a few errors when it loads and I can't get my other user account to be able to logon because of all the error messages.
Is there any way of disabling litestep when XP starts, so it can be started manually?
Thanks

It's not that simple!
I control alt delete, task manager and start a new task and it just sits there locked up forever until I manually shut down my computer. I'm not a total computer idiot. Thanks though ;)

If you can get to task manager and kill it...change the themeselect.rc in \themes to read
ThemeDir "$ThemesDir$austerity\\\"

to set it to the default theme, from which you should be able to get it working and not use whatever theme gave you trouble.
