i was wondering if there was some litestep software out there to make theme's or help you make theme's?

yup, lstm2 and alphaedit3. You'll be able to find the first one in the downloads section, theother oneis in sourceforge.net.

Do the theme creators actually provide a visual way of making themes or is it just a text editor program?
