hello frieds i recently trying to make some dvds in avi files with many codecs like divx 5.1.1 ,xvid and 3vix(or something like that) but no of the programs that i have to paly these kind of file was able to play them what ican do in order to fix it.
because when ihad the explorer as shell this werent happened.
im uding the dvdx version 2.

Go into the advanced options in display properties, and then the troubleshooting tab. Drop it down to the 3rd notch (3 of 6). That works for me every time. If your card does a good job of smoothing things out, you might want to like I do...have a LS account and an explorer account. Explorer for that stuff, LS for all else (after all, if you're going to watch it, it'll be a half hour or so, right?).

what do u mean?
the avi(for every file like divx) file i save doesnt runing is invalid avi as every program saying

No clue, then (I was taking not being able to play them as in the black screen issue). Have you tried egtting the official codecs and using WMP 7 or 9?

e; the dvdx2 hasnt this useless codecs?i never use microsoft codecs i hate microsoft.
imnot using any video editing program.
im using a rip program

Windows Media Player should work. I don't know about others, but if WMP works (IE, if there's sound) for playing, then it's something odd with the players you use. If it doesn't, I don't know.

desnt exist player that playig them.
only some older files of them
