I was wopndering whether it was possible to integrate Flash into a desktop... so you can have an interactive desktop.

There is a module that will display web pages at http://www.loose-screws.com/comment.php?type=mod&id=361 - that might be your best bet. I don't know whether it will load plugin content, though.

I tried that a while ago, didn't work very well, at least not for what I wanted to do.
