I know this has probably been discussed, but the search is down. I've also asked this before myself, but that was a while ago.

there was a bug in the original full release of wa5, but it was (at least mostly) fixed in wa5.01. or you can just not enable the 2 litestep options in wa.

It still has the bug in 5.03 for me. When I switch desktops, winamp follows and all the pieces break apart and get put randomly on the screen.

The bug is in winamp afaik. Try posting on the winamp developer forums as well if you haven't already.

or for another solution, you can do as I have. just set winamp to sticky on all your vwm's. I don't have a problem leaving winamp visible and changing desktops anymore.

uh...yes it will...that's just not the correct class name.
