Bang Error Message and Question Thread last updated on 2004-04-14 16:10:33

I am a newbie to litestep, just installed it this morning. When it started, and when I try to change the taskbar buttons, I get the following message:

Exception during bang command execution.
Please contact the module author.
Bang Parameters: 21 48

Any idea what this means, or how to fix. I am running litestep on a Dell Inspiron 4000 with Win2K.

Also, is there any easy way to minimize all windows?

Thanks.

Keith.

Isn't the command mentioned ?

My bad. Yeah. The title of the window is "LiteStep::ISystraySize::Error".

Would I need to check this in the themevars.rc file?

Keith.

What do you mean by "when I try to change the tasksbar buttons" ?

*sigh* not again please. "Any idea what this means" - it means you're supposed to contact the module author. Write him an email or something. Quite surprising, I know.

The error box indicates that a module's !bang command has crashed. The LS core caught a previously unhandled exception which would have crashed the Litestep process, but instead the core managed to show the error box.

About the minimizing all windows part, try showdesk.dll.

Or you could bind hotkeys to !MinimizeWindows
