Layercut to !PopupDynamicfolder and Windows Network Connections. Thread last updated on 2004-04-02 05:14:52

I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong here, but all that shows up is the title graphic for the popup when I click on my layercut graphic on the desktop.

I've added the following to theme.rc, Can anyone advise me of what I'm doing wrong?
*shortcut "Connect" -115 161 Orbital_home.png Orbital_home.png .none #0 !PopupDynamicfolder [C:\Documents and Settings\1beb\desktop\connect\]

I think my main problem is the nomenclature...

What I have done as a work around to not being able to effectively display the network connections folder is: Create shortcuts to the connections and place them in the folder that is mentioned above. Is it possible that the reason I'm not seeing anything is becuase they are shortcuts and not actual files?

Idealy, I would like to be able to have a more general popup at that point that directs the user to a dynamic list of connections available from the network connections folder/control panel folder.

I know how to execute the folder... control.exe ncpa.cpl

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards,

Use "" instead of [].

So when can I have your babies? Is the other method even possible? Listing connections directly from the Network Connections Folder?

No, not yet. I believe someone was working on a !PopupConnections though.
