ok, im using the theme "modern" which uses "taskbar3".

my problem is, when people message me on AIM, the taskbar button doesnt flash. this causes me to miss lots of messages. i have tried adding the line "TaskbarUseRealFlashing true"
i have even gone as far as defining the color and length -
"TaskbarAlwaysOnTop true
TaskbarRefresh 3000
TaskbarDisableFlashing false
TaskbarFlashingBack 336699"

doesnt seem to work. any ideas? am i not editing the right thing? being new to LS, is it just me or does OTS2 seem to complicate things more?

thanx for any help...

do you have the default state defined? (taskbarnormalback)
is the normal appearance of the taskbar defined with an image or with a color? it should be a color..
and which version of taskbar3 are u using?

actually, no the default state isnt defined... and it looks like im using version 3-0.306_alpha-3
ill go and define the default color and see if that does it

ya know, after going in and messing with it some more, i think there should be someplace that these elements are defined. The taskbar buttons seem to be defined to use an image, but I have no idea what that default image is, where it is located, or where/what file its defined in. Im guessing that its defined for all states including flashing, so all i need to do is find that and change the flashing state there. Any ideas? anyone else using the modern skin?
