LS + Full screen applications Thread last updated on 2004-04-21 07:59:13

Is there a way to get LS to completely yeild "always on top" to full screen applications? Or is this more of a per-theme basis?

I'm currently using non|step, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it in other themes where the desktop "on top" peices would constantly try to gain the screen's attention over a full screen application (games for example).

I would like something, at the application level, to make a theme, or what have ya, drop on top while a full screen application is running.

Try setting in your personal.rc:
LSAutoHideModules true

Alternatively you can try hotkey(s) to !ToggleModules/!ShowModules/!HideModules

Unfortunately it didn't seem to work. I'll have to test out different themes and see if it's non|step at fault or not. But it doesn't hide when I try to run, say Lineage II for example.

after you set "LSAutoHideModules true", you actually need to restart litstep, not just recycle it. but that should do it.

ah sweet. It did work. Thanks much. Now, if I can find a way to stop YzDock from taking focus w/out having to quit it. hehe

Small bug, on occation I noticed that some Full screen apps will have their tacks bar icon show through. It looks like the "active" icon will peek its way through, ie not hide. Is there anyway to fix this?

!togglemodules hides them all. No fullscreen issues. Done. Set up a never-used hotkey for it and all will be well (I use ctrl+alt+shift+t)
