I had a problem with some viruses awhile back, and can assume that this caused the problem.

So anyway, while I was having trouble, I could only get it to work in the default theme, so I did that.

Now that I've seemingly fixed everything and I'm tired of the default theme, I wanted to switch it. I can't, though, as every time I try I get this message:

-----
Installer corrupted or incomplete.

This could be the result of a failed download or corruption from a virus.

If desperate, try the /NCRC command line switch (NOT recommended)
-----

So, yeah, I'm desperate. What do I do with this /NCRC command that is so highly not recommended? Or is there something else I can do?

I get the same message when I attempt to uninstall or set windows as default shell.

I would download and run the installer again. Dunno if it's 100% safe, but it can't be much worse than what you've got now. Maybe Omar even planned far enough ahead to include a repair option?

Oh, backup your personal.rc, etc first. I think the installer does that automatically, but it wouldn't hurt to be cautious.

Great, that seems to have worked. There wasn't a repair option, but it seemed to just repair automatically.

Thanks.
