When using the net, and messenger after about 3 or 4 minutes the systray module screws over. It goes all funky colours and does some weird stuff to my open windows. Can anyone suggest a solution to the problem??

Which theme are you using, and what is the build date displayed in your !about box? Does the Messenger do something fancy to its systray icon (e.g. animation)?

I have narrowed it down to just the net. To answer one of your questions, Yes it is an animated icon for MSN Messenger and also for the dialup adaptor little computer talking icon.
