I'm using Windows 98 and LiteStep 0.24.7 Beta 3 and am having this problem where the task bar is not being updated when I run and/or close programs. The first few programs I run or so are usually displayed, but if I close them or start new ones, the taskbar will not be updated to show the actual programs I am running. The strange thing is that it doesn't happen all the time. So far, the only time that the taskbar works fine is when I am using the Technofines theme. Most other themes, including Simplicity do not seem to manage the task bar properly. To change tasks, I either have to use Alt+Tab, or open the menu and go to the Tasks sub-menu.

I hope that this isn't a commonly asked question, forgive me if it is. However, the forums' search function is disabled, so I couldn't really search the forums for this.

It's a problem in 0.24.7 Beta 3. Upgrade to Beta 4 - or better yet, Release Candidate 1.

Wow! Thanks for the info! It's been a while since I've checked out LiteStep (I stopped using it because of this problem, but recently decided to actually find out about it). New version works great!
