I'm using litestep and when I tried to go "dualview" by using s-video with my TV for watching movies, litestep started locking up and going a little buggy/lagged. I'm not sure why, but I've tried other themes and it seems to do the same thing. If anyone has any information on this or maybe a solution, that would be helpful. But I'm guessing this is a bug in Litestep that's not been looked into as of yet.
I use an nvidia card and switch to the tv for movies and things and it works ok. Maybe try a program like tv tool, to switch the tv mode on and off.
well, I use Nvidia's nView for switching and when I use the dualview option, the right-hand of the taskbar in FleepStepIII is on my TV where it's not supposed to be and missing from my desktop because of the fact that dualview makes your desktop two monitors wide. Not only that, but Litestep starts getting extremely buggy and the only way to get the system running right is to ctrl+alt+del, end task on Litestep and run explorer.exe from the Task Manager.
I think you have to clone your desktop
instead of extending it Also on Display
Properties/Settings right click on second
desktop.. if Attached is checked uncheck
it, that should give you same desktop on
both TV and moniter
I've decided to uninstall Litestep. I love the look and feel of everything and I don't mind bugs every now and then, but so far I've had trouble with trying to use Dualview and using IconPackager to change my system icons. None of these things work any longer with Litestep running as shell and I'd rather not go into editing system files. It's too time consuming to edit my shell32.dll. Anyway, goodbye Litestep.
The positions being wrong makes sense, but I have no idea why it would go buggy unless it's a bug in the nvidia software.
goodbye gho5t. i'm sorry we never got to chat.
I'm still trying with litestep and I believe I've actually got this theme working with dualview.
btw mojo, you have 'THE' best themes I've seen yet.
