Is there any module that can control Foobar2000?
It apears that with 0.8, the class name thing went *poof*, and Dynamp, fcmwia, and Foobang no longer work.
For now I gues I'll go back to 0.7

no longer work?
dynamp works fine here with foobar2000 v0.8

it might be an interface component you're using with fb2k which is causing the problem.

in any case, try running foobar2000 /help and you'll see some nice switches you can set to hotkeys :)

Hmmm...no components that don't come with the special version are installed.
I have enough hot-keys as is, and would need convoluted ones to not step on game controls.
Settings hotkeys is a simple atterthrough the GUI, anyway.
...7.7b still works fine. Just did a reinstall with them in separate folders.

Accessing foobar using this method was never supported. If you want to access foobar you should be doing it through supported interfaces, ie the command line or a plugin. There are multiple plugin's out there that supply a defined interface into foobar, off the top of my head, these names may not be exactly right, foo_mirc, foo_command, both do. All the developers have stated all along that accessing the fb2k window through the class name could break at anytime, and was not a suported way to control the app.

I have created an initial version of "foo_class" which implements a FOOBAR2000_CLASS window, and sets the caption to the "Main window title" formating string. Later perhaps I'll implement "control" message handling. You can download it from:

Enjoy.

The foo modules aren´t working for me too, there is a foo_winamp_spam.dll component in http://www.r1ch.net/stuff/foobar/

"The component works primarily by creating a window with the Winamp 1.x classname and setting the current song title to it. This allows programs to find the Winamp window handle in order to send further messages."

Works fine with geek/dyn amp the only problem is when you say at litestep amp_show!, the class window bring on the screen, but is a nice temporal solution.
