Can i set different select images for different desktops?

nope, but that would be cool, for use with a corresponding unique (nontiled/stretched) background

Not wallpaper dear Chuvi i mean different images for selected miniwindows.

That's a good idea though... I'll have to see how hard this would be to implement.

And you'll try to add this option in next release?

Who can say? I'm already trying to do too many things at once, and if it looks like it'll be difficult then I won't bother. I haven't had a chance to look into it yet though.

just outta curiosity, you get anywhere with this yet RC?
been trying to do it through scripting but can't set current desk number to any variable

Haven't gotten to look at it yet. :/ There seem to be a number of people wanting it though, so I should probably try to work it in...

will the next release also include a fix for the windows theme/maximized windows issue? where maximized windows follow you between desktops if you are using any windows theme other than the classic theme?

Probably not. All of the solutions I know of are a little ugly to implement, and it's difficult for me to test them properly. (and to see how ugly the resulting behavior is) Plus I've got a number of changes that've been waiting for months, I might even put out "the next release" without this select thing just because I don't have it done yet.

Also, I'm still a little annoyed that I have to fix Microsoft's bug...

mb just a flag 'restore maximized windows on switching'?
relatively easy to implement I guess... and no problem with testing ;)
