Need help making theme popup transparent Thread last updated on 2004-02-25 00:33:19

I'd like to do a little customization of my current them, mainly making the popup transparent. I'm using "LiteGnome4" theme. I am a noob at this, so bear with me. I added this line to my theme.rc:

*Netloadmodule grdtransparent-1.1_beta_1

I then added these lines to the popup config rc:

PopupTransparent true
*grdTransparent popup2-2.1.6.dll 50 1

I believe this is all I needed to do, but it seems i've just confused myself over by trying to copy it from another theme...

Any help for a poor noob? Thanks...

try

*grdTransparent popup2-2.1.6 50 1

although...I dunno if 50 will be enough...mine is around 230

Why on earth people don't use lsdynamic for true transparency ?

Tried using

*grdTransparent popup2-2.1.6 50 1

But no go...

I know that's the module/version it uses for the popup...

Do the images have to be a certain type for it to work?

I will try lsdynamic...will have to look into it first...

You need to add the .dll extension. Try swapping the load order of grdtransparent and popup2.

popup2-2.1.6 and transparency never worked for me. Try 2.1.5

Hum, sorry, I was wrong; using lsdynamic only allow transparency on the first level popup; not the child windows

I'll try 2.1.5, thanks...

hrmmm...strange...the only thing I can get to go transparent is my popup and that is 2.1.6. Everything else is ignoring it.
