[Edited] I have a problem with the AddUser utility, it failed to setup LS for my user and in the log file the error was this: "ERROR: AddUser can only be used on NT platforms, exiting

LiteStep could not be setup for the current user"
...i have Windows 98 first edition. Could ihave something to do with the fact, that i installed and uninstalled winME a while ago?

no...it has to do with you not running on an NT Platform as it said. There are no users to Win9x operating systems.

For crying out loud what was i think when i read that error, it said "AddUser can ONLY BE"... i feel stupid... -_-' Ofcourse it wouldn't work on my 98 *smacks himself*. ...i take it it won't work on a 9x system because the windows itself doesn't support shells to be changed on log in.

you can change shell on login by loading a shell manager as your shell. It does not support it because 9x doesn't support users.
